An amazing backyard party at the Sanderson Estate! #AskAndYouShallReceive

Is it excitement or the sheer fear of leaving your roaring 20’s behind, and stepping into another phase of adulthood that makes turning 30 so monumental? Whatever the reason is, I’m a firm believer in celebrating LIFE.

My nephew, Jefferson, recently turned thirty and a couple months prior he said to me, “Auntie, I want to throw a party for my 30th birthday”. My response: I got you.

For my nephew it was an easy sell because I absolutely love my outdoor space and if you know me; you know I love entertain. I guess its true; if you ask you shall receive. He asked and his request from a vision into a stunning reality.

I really dove in and used my backyard as the canvas for this celebration. I wanted it to be elegant and rustic since we were obviously outdoors. These pictures prove that with the right amount of will power and planning you can create a luxurious backyard party that will completely ‘WOW’ your guests.

Long gone are the days of backyard parties belonging solely to toddlers! I think we proved here, that elegant celebrations such as turning 30- are best suited for the outdoors.
