Hi.

Welcome to my blog. My philosophy of life is:

All in moderation and all in due time.

I’ve not mastered it yet but again…ALL in due time.

I dreamed a never ending dream, and I’ve yet to wake up.

I dreamed a never ending dream, and I’ve yet to wake up.

While sitting in the front row of your life, do your dreams have any space?

“20 years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.

Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

~Mark Twain

We often dream about meaningless things, like material possessions. We dream about attaining these small tokens of “success,” which are really not worth living for.

The dreams I am talking about, are life changing. Material reveries are the most unrewarding of all and dreaming of (and wanting) to achieve/attain them is not worth our efforts. We have this one chance to impact, to affect ourselves and the people around us. The material wants ain’t it… there are more significant and interesting purposes for our efforts. Trust!

Let me rephrase, or start my introduction over:

“We often want meaningless things, like material possessions. We want to attain these small tokens of “success”, which are really not worth living for…”

I will be the first to raise my hand to the guilt of loving and wanting to own the “nicest” things I can afford and shamelessly wanting those things that I cannot afford.

To want, is a feeling that most likely will be fleeting. Just as much, to not come full circle with that feeling, brings only a temporary deception. You are able to move on so quickly, unscathed when your “wants” are not achieved. On to the next, without skipping a beat. But how about dreams…

Dreams

Dreams are aspirational, they are BIG, and they are about who I want to be and what I would like to achieve. They are the best ever version of myself.

Dreams are the “YOU” that you are working hard on becoming. Your dreams are all the things that you are going to do and everything that you are becoming.

You need big dreams. I need a constant big vision of myself so I can work on becoming the best of me. Dreams will change you, they will help shape you because your dreams are only dreams if you don’t take action to make them come true.

There is so much more I aspire to achieve. Every day I wake up wanting more…. It doesn’t mean that I am not happy with where I am, what I have and (for the most part) who I am. It simply means I have not stopped dreaming; I have not stopped envisioning more. Please hear me when I say “more,” as it is so different than “better”. I believe in myself enough to be happy with where I am at but wanting more.

More for me…

More for my kids…

More for my relationships…

More for all of us… more for all of me…

I don’t just want to be a dreamer, I want to live my dreams BUT… Is there ever an arrival point to the dreams and the “wishing for the stars”?

The answer is NO. No cap, no limit

Dream as big as you want. We deserve our dreams. We deserve everything we’ve ever wanted, imagined, and longed for. Dreams are why we are here. It’s natural, God-gifted, and springing from our highest Self... Dreams are keeping us going, growing and living. There is a world full of opportunity out there for us to reach for, to look forward to and to achieve. Why not take advantage of it?

Focus on the most impossible thing that you can imagine, make sure it is something that you’ll love and are passionate about, and go after it. What’s the worst that could happen? Failing? That’s part of it, part of life, and part of the learning process. The reality is that even failure will teach and bring growth to your life, so don’t be afraid to aim for the stars!

We all are deserving. What we become is the fruit of our dreams as we make them reality.

We can only fulfill our dreams and live all of our potential when we accept our deservingness. Whatever your dream is, create your own affirmation to remind you how much you deserve to be living your dream. And repeat that affirmation to yourself frequently throughout the day.

“You see things; and you say, ‘Why?’

But I dream things that never were; and I say, ‘why not?’”

~George Bernard Shaw

Make a list of your dreams. What actions are you taking right now to make them a reality?

And always, remember that I love you- Smooches
